BILLY SAYNES Obituary
Billy Hoyt Saynes age 82 of Whitwell, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Teresa Lynn Saynes; his parents, Jule McKinley & Mary Thacker Saynes; brothers, James Saynes, Paul Saynes, Claude Clifford Saynes; sisters, Mary Atterton, Louise Slatton. Mr. Saynes was a member of South Whitwell Baptist Church and retired from T.J. Trucking Company in Chattanooga.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Iva Lee Kilgore Saynes; children, Randy (Rita) Powell of Apison, Sandra (Donald Gene) Pickett of Whitwell, Alisa (Eugene) Kilgore of Dunlap; six grandchildren, Donald (Paige) Pickett, II, Grace (Toby Grayson) Pickett, Kenny Powell, Mason Kilgore, Marlee Kilgore, Morgan Kilgore; great grandchildren, Ainsley Pickett, Jake Pickett, Taylor Grayson, Tori Grayson; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends 3-8PM, Monday, July 29, 2019.
Funeral services will be 2PM, Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hershel Powell, Rev. Roy Terry & Rev. Darrell Winters officiating. Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
