CHARLES GREEN Obituary

Charles Richard Green age 84 of Whitwell, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur & Icie Green; grandson, Chris Clarkson; granddaughter, Ansley Springer; sister, Mary Green; son-in-law, Joe Clarkson. Mr. Green was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, the Holiday Ramblers Club for over 30 years and retired corporate pilot for McKee Foods. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 45 years, Bettie Higgins Green of Whitwell; two daughters, Dale Springer and Debbie Clarkson of Atlanta, Ga; five grandchildren, Kelly (Chris) Summers, Alyson Rizk, Dr. David (Anita) Springer, Jason Foster, Derek Clarkson; six great grandchildren, Emori, Haley, Fiona, Penney, John Thomas, & Cady; sister, Lenora (Bill) Worley; brother, Billy Green; sister & brother-in-law Alma & Jeff Webb; brother-in-law, Carl Higgins; special friends, Bob & Delores Thomson.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Graveside services will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11:30 Central time with Pastor Rob Snyder officiating.
