Clarence Jackson Evans, Jr. age 45 of the Suck Creek Community passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Hartford Evans, Dude Pickett; grandmother, Leoko Powell, Pauline Ibbotson; uncle, Vernon Pickett, Wendell J. Pickett, Jeff Pickett; aunt, Onita Davis.
He was employed at Valmont Industries in Jasper, TN.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Heather Evans; children, Dylan O’Hara of Mishawaka, Indiana, Megan Evans of Whitwell, Morgan Evans of Decatur, MI; parents, Clarence Evans, Sr of Whitwell, Glenda Langley of Hixson; mother & father-in-law, David & Cathy Slavings; grandmother, Laquata Katie Evans; sisters, Audra Evans of Chattanooga, Alicia Rogers, Amanda Rogers of Hixson, Rachel Hunsberger, Sarah Melton, Dawn Canard; brother, Justin Rogers, Chris Young, Brian Young, David Slavings, Chad Slavings; grandchildren, Gracelynn O’Hara, Marshall O’Hara; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great niece, great nephews and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends 12-8PM, CST, Saturday, May 5, 2018.
10-2PM CST, Sunday, May 6, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 2PM, CST, Sunday, May 6, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hershel Powell officiating. Interment at Red Hill Cemetery.
