CLARENCE PICKETT Obituary
Clarence F. Pickett age 79 of Whitwell passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Pickett; parents, James Fletcher & Nellie Irene Pickett; sister, Lucille Higdon. Mr. Pickett was a retired United States Air Force Veteran serving 20 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitwell.
Those left to cherish his memories are two daughters, Teresa Thomas of Whitwell and Tammy Johnson of Hixson; grandchildren, Anthony Ogden, Rebecca Hodge, Stacey Thomas, Casey Thomas; four great grandchildren, Serenity Thomas, Aiden & Parker Ogden, Georgina Thomas; sisters, Lenna French of Whitwell, Elouise Johnson of Dunlap, Adell Flaxcomb of Ringgold, GA; brother, Doyle Pickett of Whitwell; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 2-8PM, Friday, December 14, 2018.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Massey officiating. Interment at White Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that your expression of love be a donation to the White-Pickett Memorial Cemetery Fund in order to care for and maintain his final resting place. Military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
