GERALD ADAMS Obituary

Gerald E. “Jerry” Adams age 77 of Whitwell passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. He served in the United States Army and was a member of IBEW Local 175. Jerry was a member of the Church of Christ at Whitwell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Layne Adams; parents, Edd & Verna Lee Adams; sister, Doris Adams Haralson; an infant brother, Joe.

Those left to cherish his memories are three children, Donna (Dwight) Kilgore of Whitwell, Eddie (Connie) Adams of Huntsville, Carol (Mark) Lee of Whitwell; grandchildren, Anthony, Amanda, Daniel, Adam, Dylan, Tanner, Tyler and Ella; great grandchildren, Ethan, Makayla, Caylen, Lexi, Markell, Elliot, Emery, Liam, Isaiah and Harper: nephew, David Fields; niece, Leah Mussared.

Family will receive friends 4PM-8PM, CDT, Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Funeral Service 5PM, CDT, Sunday, August 5, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Adam Boggess officiating. Interment to follow at Red Hill Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
