GLORIA ADAMS Obituary
Gloria Ruth Scissom Adams age 76 of Whitwell passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald "Jerry" Adams, & Bobby Condra; parents, Horace & Maudie Scissom; brothers, Kenneth Scissom, Stanley Scissom, Freddie Scissom; sisters, Judy Scissom, Janice Scissom.
Those left to cherish her memories are two children, Donna (Dwight) Kilgore of Whitwell; Gerald "Ed" (Connie) Adams, Jr. of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Anthony, Dylan, Tyler; great grandchildren, Ethan, Caylen, Alexis, Liam, Elliott, Emery & Harper; brothers, Bill Scissom, Joe (Wanda) Scissom; sister-in-laws, Carolyn Scissom, Nellie Scissom; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 2-8PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 11AM, Friday, December 28, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Adam Boggess officiating. Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Avalon Hospice for their care and kindness toward Gloria during her illness.
