Hank Roberts proudly served in the Vietnam War, 101st Division Airborne, Pathfinder for his country. He was a strong supporter of President Trump! Once an orphan after his mother passed away at an early age of only 2 he moved from foster home to foster home until he enlisted with Uncle Sam at the age of 15. He married his first love at 19 and had four children in Chicago. After all his wild fun in Chicago with up and downs, he met Jackie and was soon married in the Kankakee River in waders with fishing vets made of flies and spinner baits of Gold and Silver. Hanks wife passed just a week before him. Sorry he didn't get a chance to say good by to all of you that remember all his great experiences of living good times and bad with laughter. He is now fishing golden lakes and river, and if we know Hank he is probably showing God how to cast the best lure with a joke or two.
Before Hank left us, he made his own fishing lures USA made limited editions from Forks with proceeds to our vets.
To all my dear friends at Jasper Construction, I took your love and friendship with me. Alongside with my friend Craig Carlson. Thank you Craig for holding on all my fishing gear when no one else knew my pain.
No formal services scheduled at this time.
