JAMES BURGESS Obituary

James Richard Burgess age 84 of Ringgold, formerly of Whitwell passed away Friday, February 15, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Alford & Lillie Dodson Burgess; brother, Joseph Roscoe Burgess.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 60 years Ruth Evelyn Burgess; two daughters, Cindy Smith and Cherie Land all of Ringgold; sisters, Geneva Cooley, Faye Ross, Lou Alice Renegar, Dorthy Burgess, June Marie Blalock; brother, Roy Franklin Burgess; three grandchildren, Steven, Alesia & Destiny; two great grandchildren, Charisma and Westin; several nieces, nephews & a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 2-3PM, Central Time, Saturday, February 16, 2019 with funeral services to follow at 3PM, Central Time in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Burgess officiating. Interment at Red Hill Cemetery.
