MARY LUCILLE DAVISON

Mrs. Mary “Lucille” Davison, age 94, formerly of Jasper, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. She was born in Dayton, Tennessee to the late Mr. Walter Sr. and Viola Alley and was one of eight children. After graduating from Spring City High as valedictorian, she attended the Abel School of Business and became employed by TVA where she met her beloved husband. Mrs. Davison was proceeded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Davison; sons, Phil Davison, J Mark Davison; parents; Walter Sr. and Viola Alley; sisters, Ada, Ailene, Helen; brothers, Chester and Gene.  Mrs. Davison was a member of the Green Thumb Gardening Club of Jasper and the First Baptist Church of Jasper.

Those left to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy are her brothers; Charles Alley, Walter Alley Jr.; two daughter-in-law’s, Marva Davison (Phil) and Janice Davison (Mark); grandsons Ryan (Molly), Chris (Lea), Nicholas (Annsley) and granddaughter Mallory; great grandchildren, Evelyn and Jackson Lee; several nieces, nephews and host of friends.

The Davison and Alley family will celebrate the life of Lucille and receive friends on Thursday November 1, 2018 from 4-8PM, CST; Friday, November 2, 2018 from 10-12:30PM.

Honoring her wishes, a graveside service will be held on Friday November 2nd, 2018 at 1PM, CST at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper with Reverend Mark Talley officiating.
