PATRICK PETTY Obituary

Patrick Arnold Petty age 65 of Whitwell, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Petty & Patricia Sharp.

Pat was a well known Custom Home Builder and Master Carpenter for 47 years. When Pat wasn’t being a professional craftsman, he spent most of his time on his farm and was a member of the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association. He was always very proud of being part of bringing Little League Football to Whitwell and served as the organizations first President. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Pat discovered golf as an adult and was known as a proud member of the Lupton City Golf Club.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 49 years, Sharon Petty; two sons, Bryan Petty & Ben Petty; grandson, Hudson Petty and one on the way, Kingston Petty all of Whitwell; sisters, Lenoir Perkins, Gayle Petty, April Greene; brothers, Tom Petty & Kevin Petty of Chattanooga.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the funeral home.

Memorial service and spreading of his ashes will be 5:30PM Friday, July 12, 2019 for close family and friends at the Petty Family Farm with Rev. Kevin Petty officiating.
