Patrick Bryan Petty age 49 of Whitwell passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019. He graduated from University of the South in 1992, Whitwell High School in 1988 and employed by Johnson Thermal as a sales manager. Bryan became a Christian at a young age. He was preceded by his father, Patrick Petty; grandparents, Thomas & Patrisha Petty, Ben Hudson, Myrtle Williams Lewis.
Bryan grew up on the family farm where he learned the value of family, hard work and loyalty. He always demonstrated these values in every aspect of his life. Whether it was during his football days in high school and college where he played linebacker, in his professional career where he was a in manufacturing sales for 27 years, raising his own cattle on the farm, being a very proud leader of the Heathens MC where he was known as “Snap” or ultimately a devoted son, brother and uncle to his family. There are several different ways people all across the nation may have known Bryan. It could have been due to his huge heart and generosity, his love for debate, his farm work, his football years, or through his MC. Regardless of how people knew Bryan, they all agree that there was no other like him and never will be.
Those left to treasure his memories are his mother, Sharon Petty; brother, Ben Petty; nephews, Hudson & Kingston Petty all of Whitwell.
Family will receive friends 4PM-8PM, CDT, Friday, Sept 6, 2019.
