RAYDEAN SMITH Obituary

Raydean Smith age 84 of Whitwell, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe “Bunk” Smith; parents, Herman & Lilly Dykes; sister, Mary Ruth Allen; nephew, Jeff Allen. Mrs. Smith was the owner/operator of Smith’s Grocery alongside her husband for many years and a member of Whitwell Church of God.

Those left to cherish her memories are three sons, Billy Joe (Alma) Smith of Dunlap, Keith (Jennifer) Smith, Glenn (Shannon) Smith of Whitwell; twin sister, Robbie Jean Dykes of Whitwell; grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Raylon Smith, Rylie Smith, Lexy Smith, Kevin Young, Beth Young; great grandchildren, Caspen Holland, Sgt. Joshua Young (United States Army).

Family will receive friends 2-8PM, Friday, November 29, 2019.

Funeral services will be 12noon, Saturday, November 30, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clayton Privett and Rev. Michael Shrum officiating. Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
