Richard Jerry Raines

Richard Jerry Raines of Whitwell passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, January 13, 2020, with his dedicated daughters, Jeria and Jaya comforting him by his side. Each of them holding his hand as they surrounded him with their loving care. As he passed on to his heavenly home to be forever joined with his precious loving wife of 60 years, Jean Raines who passed away January 11, 2018. He also joined his cherished father and mother, Hershel and Vera Raines.

Those left to cherish his memories are his two devoted daughters, Jeria Raines and Jaya Raines-Ailshie; his sweet son-in-law, Jeff Ailshie; who traveled the end of his journey graciously with him and their hearts will forever miss his amazing uplifting and joyful presence. Jerry leaned on his Heavenly Father and The Word of God and is a Dedicated member at The Church of Christ in Dunlap, Tennessee.

Family will receive friends 11AM-2PM, CDT, Thursday, January 16, 2020.

Funeral Service 2PM, CDT, Thursday, January 16, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Preacher Freddie Clayton officiating. Interment to follow at Condra Cemetery.
