SARAH STEPHENSON Obituary
Sarah E. Burnette Stephenson age 76 of Whitwell, passed away Saturday, January 04, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy E. Stephenson; parents, Estel Dee & Minnie Harris Burnett, Sr.; brothers, John Burnette, Lee Roy Kilgore, Hershel Frank Kilgore, Estel Dee Burnette, Jr;; sisters, Bonnie Collins, Katherine Burnette, Carolyn Burnette, Louise Hastings. Sarah was retired from Home Health Care of East Tennessee; she was a member of the Church of Christ at Whitwell. Sarah graduated from Marion County High School Class of 1961.
Those left to cherish her memories are two sons, Mark E. Stephenson of Jasper, Todd D. (Courtney) Stephenson of South Carolina; sister, Hazel (G.C.) Brown of Tracy City; three grandchildren, Lauren Stephenson, Connor Stephenson, Caroline Stephenson; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 5-7PM, Monday, January 6, 2020.
Funeral services will be 2PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Adam Boggess officiating. Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
