WILLIAM SHIPLEY Obituary

William Andrew “Drew” Shipley age 75 of Whitwell walked thru Heaven's gates on Friday, March 8, 2019. Drew's favorite pastime was attending church and singings. He enjoyed visiting and talking with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse & Elsie Shipley; brothers, J.P., Bradley, & Leroy Shipley; brothers-in-law, Bobby Richardson & Johnny Hennessee.

Those left to cherish his memories are sisters & brothers, Clema Richardson of Jasper, Jean Hennessee, Annette (Rick) Rollins of Whitwell, Sue (Joe) Narramore, Tammy Shipley of Dunlap; Darwin (Carolyn) Shipley of Palmer, Billy (Paula) Shipley of Whitwell; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 2-9PM, Sunday, March 10, 2019; 10AM-3PM, Monday, March 11, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 3PM, Monday, March 11, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Newson and Rev. George Bryant officiating. Interment at Griffith Creek Cemetery.
