Walter “Poke” Floyd, Jr. age 58 of Sequatchie passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Parkridge Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He worked at Sequatchie Handle Works and was preceded in death by his parents, Ray & Maxine Floyd; niece, Amber Slatton; nephew, Shane Foshee.

Those left to treasure his memories are his wife, Nancy Floyd; children Jonathan Adam Floyd both of Sequatchie; special nieces & nephews, Austin Alder, Whitney Alder, Christine Morrison & Justin Morrison; sisters, Deb Foshee of Sequatchie, Lorri (Bo) Burnett of Bridgeport, Robyn “Baby Sis” (Jeff) Whitzell of Sequatchie; brothers, Greg “Mooch” (Tammy) Floyd of Sequatchie.

Family will receive friends 1PM-8PM, CST, Thursday, Aug 2, 2018.
9AM-2PM, CST, Friday, Aug 3, 2018

Funeral Service 2PM, CST, Friday, Aug 3, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ernest Morrison & Rev. Roger Webb officiating. Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper.
