AMANDA MARIE (WHITED) MEEKS

Amanda Meeks, age 40, of Whitwell passed way surrounded by her loving family, Monday, February 3, 2020.  Amanda was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and worked as an LPN with NHC of Dunlap.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude and Gladys “Sis” Layne, Margie and Murphy Whited.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Allen “Pee Wee” Meeks; children, Lora Marie Meeks, Jacob Allen Meeks and Brittany (Jeff) Poe; mother, Emma (John) Shadrick; father, Phillip Whited; sisters, Kalee and Amber Whited; brothers, Barry (Amy) Whited.  Several nieces nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends, 12-8PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2020.

Services will be 2PM, Thursday, February 6, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Troyer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Griffith Creek Cemetery.
