Alice Thacker Obituary
Alice Faye Higgins Thacker, age 86, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away on December 7, 2025. She was born on March 11, 1939, and was a lifelong resident of the Whitwell community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest J. Higgins and Mary Elizabeth Painter Higgins, as well as all twelve of her siblings.
Alice is survived by her children, Ray Higgins and Debbie Crouch; grandchildren, Billy Dean Crouch, Tommy Crouch, Stacy Lynn Driver, Alicia Barnett, Kelsey Higgins and Amanda Mae Boyd ; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Hood, BriAnna Hood, Vada Crouch, Mason Crouch, Presley Crouch, NovaLee Crouch, Chloe Lily, Cameron Lily, MaKenzi Barnett, Ben Barnett, Sarah “Green Eyes” Barnett, Briar Williams, Katelyn Driver, and Jayden Driver. She also leaves behind her great-great-grandchildren, Bronzlee Hood, Kaison Hood, and Hayes Stewart.
Alice will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the legacy she leaves in the generations who follow her.
