Austin Layne Obituary

Austin Blake Layne age 24 of Whitwell passed away, Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Austin was a 2016 Graduate of Whitwell High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy “Tim” Layne, grandparents, Virginia Moore, Imogene Layne & Leroy Layne.

Those left to treasure his memories are his mother, Crystal “Cristy” Layne of Whitwell; brothers at heart, Matthew Layne, Ryan (Jessica) Layne; uncles, Randy Layne, Jeff Layne, Ray Layne, Michael (April) Lane, aunts, Glenda (George) Young, Jessica Cox, Kimmy French, Tabby (Justin), Danielle (Brandon); godfather, Chad Rollins; godmother, Misty Sanders; several cousins and a host of friends; special coach, Kevin Shrum.

Family will receive friends 5PM-8PM, CDT, Saturday, March 5, 2022 & 11AM-3PM, Sunday, March 6, 2022

Funeral Service 3PM, Sunday, March 6, 2022, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Shrum officiating. Interment to follow at Griffith Creek Cemetery.
