BELLE IRENE (AVANS) LEDFORD

Belle Irene Ledford age 71 of Whitwell gained her wings at Parkridge Main Hospital in Chattanooga, TN on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Jesse Ray Ledford; her father and mother, Greene & Zada Avans; grandson, Steven Kemp; brother, Johnny Avans.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son; Mike (Candi) Kemp of Powell’s Crossroads, TN; step-sons, Robert (Heather) Ledford of Red Bluff, California, Frankie Ledford of Whitwell, TN;  adopted daughter, Tiffany (Doug) Lankster of Whitwell, TN, grandchildren, Alexis Kemp of Whitwell, TN, Michael Kemp of South Pittsburg, TN, Kevin Auman (Amber Casteel) of Chattanooga, TN, Courtney Jewett (David Schuerger) of Chattanooga, TN, Kaleb and Mason Ledford of Red Bluff, California; siblings, Agnes (Dudley) Rector of South Pittsburg, TN, Eloise Hood of  Whitwell, TN; three great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
                                         10AM-2PM, Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Funeral service will be at 2PM, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Webb officiating.  Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, TN.

Pallbearers are Jason Hood, Chad Ledford, Kaleb & Aaron Lankster, Steven Stamey, Robert Ledford.
