BETTY RUTH (WHITE) ABLES

Betty Ruth White Ables, age 80 of Whitwell, passed away, Tuesday, November 29, 2022.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Ables; daughters, Teresa Ables Bryant and Terri Arlene Ables; parents, Arley and Mary Ethel Slatton White.   Betty was a 1960 graduate of Whitwell High School and a 1989 graduate with an Associates degree as an LPN.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Timothy (Jennie) Ables, Jerry William Ables and Mary (Randy Barnes) Ables all of Whitwell; grandchildren, Jamy Bryant, Mindy Shadrick, Jake Ables, Zach Ables, Matthew Bryant, Joshua Caldwell, Jr. and Halle Caldwell; great grandchild, Addy Bryant; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 12PM, Friday, December 2, 2022 for immediate family and friends in the Whitwell Memorial Cemetery with Brother Jody Colvin officiating.
