Betty Lue Tate, age 82, passed away surrounded by her family, Friday, December 16, 2022. She attended Mineral Springs Church of God and Crossroads Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Estle “Zeke” A. Tate; parents, Edley and Arrie Green Cates; brother, David Cates; sisters, Sue Cates Eggert and Mary Cates Campbell.
Those left to cherish her memories are her stepdaughter, Marilyn Tate Frazier; grandchildren, James Mason Frazier, Jenny Ann Frazier and Paul Samuel Turney II; great grandchild, Hadleigh Marie Frazier; brother, William A. (Pat) Cates; sister-in-law, Pat Dempsey; brother-in-law, David (Pat) Tate; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be 3PM, Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the Whitwell Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Brent Upchurch and Rev. Adam Ramsey officiating
