Brenda Bryant Roberts Johnson, born on December 17, 1949, left her earthly walk on January 28, 2025 in her home surrounded by her family.
She was a 1967 graduate of Whitwell High School and a woman of immense dedication and love. Brenda spent 15 years as a paralegal before moving on to become a title closing agent aiding the Marion County area. There her meticulous nature and commitment shone brightly until she retired. Her professional life was marked by diligence and a strong work ethic; but it was her personal life that truly shaped her legacy.
Brenda found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in feeding the squirrels and rabbits from her back porch; a small but cherished daily ritual that brought her peace and happiness. She was a social butterfly, always eager to chat with her host of friends and share in their lives. Her greatest joy, however, came from the time she spent with her family. Brenda's love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment with them.
She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 38 years, Phil Johnson, who stood by her side through thick and thin; her daughter, Melanie (Jimmy) Long, continues her legacy of love and strength; Brenda's grandchildren, Carley (Amber) Summerford, Ryder, Dayln, Zaylee, Kailyn Long; great-grandchildren, Brayleigh Jane, Kynsleigh Sue; they are the true lights of her life; Brenda's mother, Mildie (Susie) Bryant; and her siblings, Dwight (Judy) and Ronnie (Darlene) Bryant, both pillars of support and love; Special family members, Rose (Jeff) Johnson, Nikayla Brock and Rylee Marie, along with a host of close friends and family, will forever hold her memory dear.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Bryant, and her son, Barry Roberts. Despite these losses, she remained a beacon of strength and love for those around her. Brenda's warm spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed.
Her legacy of kindness, joy, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
