Betty Jane (Carter) Rector

Betty Jane Rector age 78 of Whitwell passed away Friday, February 24, 2023. She was a member of Amazing Grace Chapel. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James Rector; father, Hester Carter; mother, Lorraine Carter; sisters, Ann Kilgore and Rebecca Sharpe; brothers, Thomas Carter, Carl Carter and Carlos Carter; grandson, J.D. Sisk.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Glen (Darlene) Adams, Lynn (Fred) Hawkins & Debbie (James) Wade all of Jasper; brothers, Hester Carter, Jr. of Georgia and Steve (Pat) Carter of Whitwell; grandchildren, Darcy (Jeff) Warwick, Cody(Kelsie) Adams, Logan Adams, Lamar Wade, Jasmine Wade & Jayla Wade; great grandchildren, Madison, Gavin, Caperton, Christopher, Troy, Landon, Ela, Kaidence, Dre, Riyah, Ollie & Gabriel.

Memorial Service 10AM, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Amazing Grace Chapel in Sequatchie.
