CAROL DEAN JORDAN

Carol Dean Jordan age 72 of Whitwell passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 giving up to the fight against cancer.   Carol worked many years for South Pittsburg Hospital then moving to Grandview Hospital and the last working years were spent at Parkridge West Hospital as well as spending many years caring for family.  In her life she loved books and was an avid reader.  Carol was a graduate of Marion County High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  She has left this walk of life to go on to a greater place called Heaven, and to enjoy all that it holds for her.   

Ms. Jordan was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Scott & Pearl McCurry Jordan; brother, Joe Edward Jordan.  

Those left to cherish her memories are her sister, Shirley (Bill) Nunley) and a nephew, Joshua Scott Nunley.

Family will receive friends 12-8, Sunday, July 24, 2022.                                                   

Graveside service to follow on at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 25, 2022 at Layne’s Chapel Cemetery in Whitwell.
