With deep love and sorrow, the family of Callie Ethel Green announces her peaceful passing on May 31, 2025, at the age of 87.

Born on August 7, 1937, Callie lived a life of grace, strength, and quiet faith. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a cherished sister and friend. Her nurturing spirit, gentle presence, and unwavering devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life.

Callie is survived by her beloved children: Kelvin Green (Christie), Barry Green, and Michael Green; and by her treasured grandchildren: Andrea Green, Chloe Green, and Morgan Green; and a great grandchild on the way. Her love for her family was unconditional and everlasting, and her memory will forever live on in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Green; her parents, Charles Wesley and Violet Long; her brothers, Carl, James, and Leonard; and her sisters, Pauline, Edie, Priscilla, and Daisy.

Callie’s life was one of quiet strength, humble service, and deep love. Her legacy of kindness, wisdom, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her.

The family will receive friends from 2PM-8PM, CST, Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

A celebration of Callie’s life will be held at 1PM, CST, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Condra Cemetery.
