Carolyn Lee (Rule) Potter

Carolyn Lee Potter, age 81 of Whitwell, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026. She was born March 12, 1945 in Washington, D.C.

Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished her family deeply. She will be remembered for her kind heart and the love she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Potter; father, Donald Rule; mother, Margaret Morris; granddaughter, Emma Rose Potter; and brother, Dale Rule.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Margaret (Otis) White of Powells Crossroads and Mary Potter of Boise, Idaho; siblings, David Rule of Frederick, Maryland and Donna Hughes of Sale Creek, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Tracy Morris, William (Kain Temple) White, and Josh Potter.
