Charles Richard Baggett, Sr.

Charles Richard Baggett, Sr. age 83 of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred Baggett; son, Jesse Baggett; father, Charles Baggett; and mother, Dorothy Baggett.

Charles was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who treasured time spent with his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Survivors include his children, Martin (Flora) Baggett, Freda (Johnny) Boring, Charles Baggett, and Deanna Marie (Ricky) Blankenship; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; along with extended family members and friends.

The family would like to express their appreciation and love to Charles' nurse, Rhonda.  She was wonderful to work with and so kind and caring to Charles.

His family will receive friends 12PM-2PM, CST, Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Funeral Service 2PM, CST, Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
