DAVID BRUCE POWELL

David Bruce Powell age 68 of Hixson, formerly of Whitwell, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Evans & Audrey Powell; brother, H. Clay Powell; nephew, Jefferey Richards; niece, Brittany Grace Powell; mother-in-law, Eldridge McCartt.  Mr. Powell retired from Kendall Electric.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 20 years, Barbara Powell; son, Trevor Shadden; grandchildren, Blake, Bryson, Braden Shadden; brother, Larry (Grace) Powell; sister, Marttie (Dale) Richards; nephew, Jonathan (Nancy) Richards; niece, Faith Richards; nephew, Preston Sanders; sister-in-laws, Carole Burch, Gayle Doolittle; and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 12-2PM, Friday, February 17, 2023 with the graveside service to follow at 2PM at Red Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Roy Terry will officiate.  Interment at Red Hill Cemetery.
