DEBBIE SUE HIGGINS

Debbie Sue Higgins age 62 of Whitwell, passed away at home surrounded by family, Tuesday, November 16. 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell Rollins Kilgore and Jacob Barney Kilgore; sister, Shirley Slatton.

Those left to cherish her memories are her sisters, Bobbie Stozicki of Dunlap, Nora Carol Kilgore, Carolyn (Mark) Nunley of Sequatchie; brothers, Pete (Janice) Watts of Griffith Creek, Eddie (Dale) Watts of Powell’s Crossroads, Don Watts of Gainesville, Florida, Mike (Wanda) Higgins of Jasper and her baby brother and lifetime caregiver, Steve Higgins of Whitwell; hosts of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
                                           12-8PM, Thursday, November 18, 2021.
                                           10-2PM, Friday, November 19, 2021.
Funeral services to follow at 2PM Friday, November 19, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Basham officiating.  Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.

Family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Adoration Home Health, Rhonda Gilbert, RN, Annise Nunley, RN, Frances Holtcamp, RN and all of the many wonderful CNA’s, (to many to name) throughout the years. Also to Evan, RN with Hearth Hospice for all the love and support.
