DORIS "GRANDMA" (POWELL) WILLIAMS

Doris “Grandma” Williams age 84 of Whitwell passed away Friday, January 24, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her daughters, Angel Atterton, Deborah Davidson; parents, Roosevelt & Alta Powell; siblings, RV Powell, Billy Max “Cotton” Powell, Jim Powell, Richard Powell, Isabelle Grayson, Lois Minnick.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Cindy (Randy) Tripp; son-in-law, Tom Davidson both of Whitwell; grandchildren, Tavis Tripp, Dustin Tripp, Dalton (Sydney) Tripp, Carrie (Seth) Phillips, Jessica (Kyle) Holloway; great grandchildren, Tyler Tripp, Aralyn Tripp, Blaine Tripp, Brylee Tripp, Garrett Phillips, Jaymee Phillips, Kobe Holloway, Kyrie Holloway; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends; special friend, Sonya Ridge.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Sunday, January 26, 2025;  12-1PM, Monday, January 27, 2026.

Funeral services will be 1PM, Monday, January 27, 2025 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hershel Powell officiating.  Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
