Gary Dewayne Holder

Gary Dewayne Holder age 65 of Whitwell, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025. He retired from Yerbey Concrete Construction and attended Crossroads Church of God. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Garland & Gladys Holder; his brother, Brice Holder; his sister, Connie Holder.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Tammy Layne Holder; children, Patrick (Rachel) Holder, Justin (Brittany) Holder, Travis (Sarah) Goforth, and Trevor Goforth; siblings, Jean McClendon, Pat Durham, Clara Henderson, and Dwight Holder; grandchildren, Ethan, Layla, Lexton, Lakelynn, Grayson, Landon, Paizley, Ryker, and Beckham. Gary loved camping, fishing, and gardening. Most of all he loved the Lord, his family and his church family.

Family will receive friends, 1PM-8PM, CST, Thursday, May 29, 2025, and 11AM-2PM, CST, Friday, May 30, 2025.

Funeral Service 2PM, CST, Friday, May 30, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brent Upchurch and Rev. John Yeoman officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
