George Holder Obituary

George Richard Holder age 45 of Whitwell passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gayle Eggert Holder; grandparents, George and Lula Eggert, Nathan and Cleo Holder. Richard graduated from Whitwell High School Class of 1995 and was employed by FedEx Ground since 2011.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 26 years, Melissa Grayson Holder; sons, Cayden Andrew Holder and James Trey Holder; father, Rickey Holder; brother, Joe Holder; nephews, Jamie Stephenson, Joshua Stephenson, Trevin Holloway, Ethan Castle and Gavin Castle; nieces, Caroline Reeves and Julia Reeves; and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 10am-12noon, Thursday, September 9, 2021 with a graveside service to follow at 12:30 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper with Rev. Allen Griffith officiating.
