Harmon S. Stephenson age 81 of Whitwell, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023. Harmon was a member of The Mt Olive Cemetery Association and worked at The Coal Miners Museum in Whitwell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Stephenson; parents, Joseph & Viola Stephenson; son, Joe Stephenson; siblings, Joe Stephenson, John Stephenson, Bill Stephenson, Tom Stephenson, Jack Stephenson & Wilma Bradley.
Those left to treasure his memories are his daughters, Linda (Mike) Hicks of Wildwood and Kim (Ray) Prestel of Whitwell; sister, Linda (Bill) Slater; grandchildren, Alyson (David Lujan) Prestel, Kimber Lee McKenzie and Spencer (Stefanie) Prestel; great grandchildren, Joseph McKenzie, Aubrey McKenzie, Emma McKenzie, Liam McKenzie, Mia Kate Lujan.
Family will receive friends 2PM-7PM, Saturday, October 7, 2023 and 11AM-1PM, Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Funeral Service 1PM, Sunday, October 8, 2023, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brent Upchurch and Pastor Jerry Basham officiating. Interment to follow at Mt Olive Cemetery.
