JAMES BROWN Obituary

James L. Brown age 93 of Whitwell, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Dempsey Brown; parents, Clyde & Jessie Brown; sons, David “Stovepipe” Brown, Bobby Brown; brother, Bill Brown; sisters, Pauline Dempsey, Margie Houck & Laura. Mr. Brown retired from Ed Wright City Dodge as an autobody technician. Mr. Brown was of Church of God faith.

Those left to cherish his memories are three children, Debbie Brown, Darrell (Kathy) Brown & Linda Pickett all of Whitwell; sister, Ethel Hurley; ten grandchildren, Tim Pickett, Ray Brown, Jimmy Brown, Michael Brown, Travis Brown, Donna Pickett, Bobby Lee Brown, Lisa Pickett, Chris Brown, Larry Brown and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 1-8PM, Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Funeral services will be at 12noon, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Basham officiating. Interment at Red Hill Cemetery.
