Obituary
James Harris age 59 of Whitwell passed away Monday, February 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Jo Harris; grandmother, Mae Lou Harris; mother-at-heart, Queen Esther Harris; Aunts, Bessie Lou Jackson, Ida Pearl Harris, Doris Ann; father-in-law, Clyde Jr. Layne.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Rita Layne Harris; children, Rebekah Harris of Whitwell, Randy (Brittni) Nunley of Jasper, Tim Nunley of Crossroads; four grandchildren, Jacob Nunley Valdez, Madilyn Davis, Kinsley Davis, Violet Nunley; mother-in-law, Nelda Layne; several nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.
Family will receive friends 10am-2pm, Saturday, February 19, 2022 with the funeral to follow at 2PM, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Newson and Rev. Jonathan Graham officiating. Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
