JAMES STEPHENSON Obituary

James T. (Tom) Stephenson age 75 of Whitwell passed away Monday, August 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Viola Stephenson; brothers, Joe Stephenson, Jr, John Stephenson, Jack Stephenson; sister, Wilma Bradley. Mr. Stephenson was retired from the Marion County School System.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 58 years, Barbara Dean Ashburn Stephenson; children, Joe & Karen Stephenson, Ray & Shelia Stephenson of Whitwell; siblings, Billy Joe & Shirley Stephenson, Harmon Stephenson of Whitwell, Linda Slater of Pineville, LA; grandchildren, James Edward Stephenson, Joshua Daniel Stephenson; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be 10am, Tuesday at Mount Olive Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Basham officiating.
