JANICE DEAN (SHIRLEY) BRANDON

Janice Shirley Brandon age 86 left this life on Saturday, August 20, 2022 to meet her Savior at her family reunion in Heaven.  She was a chartered member of Crossroads Baptist Church and organist for 43 years.  She played 18 years at Kelly’s Chapel before.

Preceded in death was her husband of 61 years, Dennis Brandon; parents, Joseph Edward & Dorothy Dean Shirley.   She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lynn (Ronald) Holloway; grandchildren, Natalie (Danny) Blair, Nesha (Cam) Steele; great grandchildren, Keller Tankersley, Caroline and Bennett Steele, Auston, Kennedy and Bryson Blair; brother, Austin (Sue) Shirley of Dayton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Wendy Brandon of Fayetteville, GA; several nieces and nephews.  She loved TN football, Lady Vols Basketball, Atlanta Braves and her church family.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, CST, Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Funeral services will be at 2PM, CST, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in the chapel of Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Baxter & Josh Holtcamp officiating.   Interment at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.
