JOE JACK CASTLE

Joe J. Castle age 90 of Whitwell, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Kathern Castle; parents, Jack & Addie Castle; brothers, Walter, Floyd, Kale, Frank, Boyd, Johnny & Bud Castle; sisters, Marge, Tinnie, Maggie & Ollie;

Mr. Castle was  an original member of the Whitwell Fire & Rescue Department. He was on the board of Directors for Marion Trust & Banking, a Marion County Constable, he served as a Whitwell City Commissioner and he retired from Velsicol Chemical and Castle’s Midget Grocery.

Those left to cherish is memories are three sons, Mike (Patricia) Castle, Danny Castle, David (Audrey) Castle all of Whitwell; six grandchildren, Mike Castle, II, Chonne Castle Stoker, Jody Castle, Jason Castle, Jonathan Castle, Angie Castle; five greatgrandchildren, Lauren Blevins, Garrett Castle, Bella Castle, Ethan Castle, Gavin Castle; great great grandchild, Willow Blevins; several nieces,  nephews and a  host of friends.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Monday, January 6, 2020.

Funeral service at 12noon, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Graham, Rev. Allen Griffith and Rev. Michael Shrum officiating.  Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
