JOHN RUST Obituary

John Robert Rust age 72 of Signal Mountain passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020. He was preceded in death by his son, John Robert Rust, Jr.; parents, Oran & Mary Jo Rust. He was retired from the United States Army; attended Timesville Avenue Baptist Church; and was a member of the Sequatchie Valley Tractor Club.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Nancy Rust; children, Kenneth Ray Rust of New Mexico, Jasper Kincaid Rust & Layla Abigail Rust of Signal Mtn,; step children, Callie Brennon of Flintstone, Ga, Beth Elliott of New Mexico, Ron Dunn of South Pittsburg; several grandchildren.

Burial will be 2PM, Eastern, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 only 10 family members are allowed to attend and Masks are required.
