JOHNNY FRANKLIN YOUNG, JR.

Johnny Franklin Young, Jr. age 86 of Whitwell passed away February 6, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Franklin & Mary McNabb Young; siblings, Clara Kilgore, Opal Copeland, Odell Gamble, Joyce Cox, Harold Young, Ray Young, Hoyt Young.

Those left to cherish his memories are children, JD (Cindy) Young of Whitwell, Tina Short of Hixson, Roger (Melody) Young of Whitwell; eight grandchildren, Nikki (Ryan) Turner, Kayla (Cody) Harmon, Emily (Tyler) Tate, Jeremy Harwood, Christy Short, Jacob Godfrey, Rachael Young, Cy (Mattie) Young; ten great grandchildren, Gray Turner, Benjamin Turner, Savannah Rae Harmon, Kierston Gaddis, Aceson Gaddis, Hukson Whited, Della Rae Ann Mikel, Kambria Harwood, Lowery Harwood, Lennox Harwood; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life 3-7PM, Thursday, February 8, 2024.
