James Casey Bennett

James Casey Bennett, age 53, of Signal Mountain, was born on February 26, 1973, and passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. He was employed by Signal Mountain Water Utilities.

He was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Janet Bennett; mother-in-law, Hazel Dick.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janie G. Bennett of Signal Mountain; son, Shawn (Chasity) Bennett of Signal Mountain; mother, Sandy Owen of Chattanooga; father, Butch Dale of Soddy Daisy; children, Kaci Painter of Calhoun and Caleb Hensley of Dalton; siblings, Dana Bennett and Brandi Bilbrey; father-in-law, Hershel (Pat) Dick; sister-in-law, Delores (Carl) Craig; grandchildren, Oliver Burks, Bristol Robinette, Greyson Bagwell and Kolsten Bagwell.

Family will receive friends 3PM-8PM, CST, Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Funeral Service 2PM, CST, May 3, 2026, in the funeral home chapel with Brother William Dick officiating. Interment to follow at Griffith Creek Cemetery.
