James "Jimmy" Harrison

James Harrison, age 72, of Whitwell, passed away, Monday, October 31, 2022.  Mr. Harrison was a former member of the Rescue Squad, Co-Op Board and retired from the United Postal Service.  He was born November 13, 1949, to Thomas Carl and Edith Thomas Harrison.

 He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wanda Sue Easterly; niece, Debbie Easterly Boston.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 43 years, Norma Harrison; son, James (Traci) Harrison; granddaughter, Brittany (Tristan) Smith; great grandchildren, Easton, and Ellie Smith; brother, Thomas Harrison; niece, Tina Atterton; nephews, Greg (Cindy) Easterly, Tim (Stephanie) Easterly, Thomas Harrison and Michael Harrison; many great nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

Graveside services will be 11AM, Thursday, November 3, 2022, in the Whitwell Memorial Cemetery with Roy Terry officiating.
