Janice Faye Griffith

Janice Faye Griffith, age 66, of Whitwell, Tennessee, was born December 18, 1959, and passed away on May 20, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Griffith; mother, Ruby Doss Griffith; sisters, Margie Ruth Gholston, Lela Mae Long, Clara Louise Cordell, and Diane Griffith; brothers, Virgil Evans Griffith and Bobby Ray Griffith; and nephew, Billy Elbert Long.

Those left to cherish her memories include her nieces, Cindy (Donny) Prater, Sandy Schaffer, Nekia (TJ) Griffith, and Jessie Griffith; nephews, Mike (Jackie) Griffith and Wayne (Judy) Kilgore; uncles, Carl Griffith and Elmer (Pat) Griffith; great nieces, Tori Griffith (Jacob), Breezie Griffith (Daniel), Cassy Kilgore (Freddy), Sha Kilgore, Ashley Gilbert, Lexy Schaffer, Emma Griffith, Emily (Justin) Morrison; great nephews, Tristan Layne (Gabrielle), Zachary Griffith, Bubba Kilgore and Jacob Long; along with a host of great great nephews and nieces.

Janice will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Graveside Service 330PM, Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Griffith Creek Cemetery with Brother Dennis Rollins officiating.
