Jeff C Layne

Jeff C. Layne age 85 of Whitwell passed away, Friday, January 26, 2024. He was preceded by his parents, Buck & Lucy Layne. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a member at Kimball Tabernacle of Praise.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Dorothy Thompson Layne of Whitwell; sons, Thomas “Jeff” Layne of Colorado and Steve Layne of Whitwell; grandchildren, Colt Layne, Peyton Layne Chapman and Aiden Layne; great grandchildren, Reagan and Rhett Chapman.

Family will receive friends 3PM-8PM, Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Funeral Service 2PM, CDT, Sunday, January 28, 2024, in the funeral home chapel

with Pastor Darrell Nunley officiating. Interment to follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
