Joyce B. Thomas

Vonda Joyce Barber Thomas age 96 of Hermitage passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024. Ms. Thomas was a Flying Ace volunteer at the airport, she assisted travelers with questions and directions for many years. She also served as a volunteer at Summit Hospital in Hermitage, Tn. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Creed Daniel Thomas; father, Lawrence Barber; mother, Allie Barber; brother, Oland Barber and sisters, Wilma McGinnis and Norma Bailey.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Stephen (Candice) Thomas of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Chris (Tara) Thomas, Greg (Kelly) Thomas and Allison (Darren) Weathers; great grandchildren, Dalton Parish, Skyler Thomas, Chloe Thomas, Jackson Thomas, Ella Thomas, Clayton Thomas, Aubrey Weathers and Owen Weathers.

The family will receive friends11AM-1PM, CST, Friday, November 8, 2024.

Funeral Service 1PM, CST, Friday, November 8, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with David Ridge officiating. Interment to follow at Smith Cemetery.
