Judith Ann (Patterson) McDougal

Judith Ann Patterson McDougal age 77 of Whitwell passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a member of Whitwell Church of God. Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Kathyrn Patterson; father, Archie O’Neal Patterson; siblings, Wanda McEntire, Lamar (Joan) Patterson, Ronnie Patterson and Pat Patterson; granddaughter, Esther Joy McDougal.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Robert (Veronica) McDougal of Suck Creek Mountain, Mark (Misty) McDougal of Jasper, Jennifer McDougal and Kristan (Joe) Dodson both of Suck Creek Mountain; former spouse, Buddy McDougal of Suck Creek Mountain; sister, Mary Jo Patterson Griffey; grandchildren, Grace Shrum, Faith Shrum, Noah Shrum, Bennett McDougal, Adam McDougal, Tiffany Weaver, Abbott McDougal, Ruby Ellen McDougal, Shelby Lombardo, Grey Givens, Riley Jo Dodson, Ivy Dodson and Addison Beene.

Family will receive friends 3PM-8PM, CST, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends 11AM-1PM, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Whitwell Church of God.

Funeral Service 1PM, CST, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Whitwell Church of God with Pastor Jim Mulkey officiating. Interment to follow at Lusk Cemetery on Suck Creek Mountain.
