Kevin E. Freeman, Jr.

Kevin Eugene Freeman, Jr., age 20, passed away on July 8, 2025. Born on May 12, 2005, Kevin lived a life that, though marked by challenges, was filled with love, strength, and inspiration. He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Freeman, Sr.; sister, Lexus Freeman; grandparents, Tim Freeman, Joann Freeman, Robert Rackler and Joyce Rackler.

Kevin was born with cerebral palsy, yet he met each day with courage and a radiant spirit that touched all who knew him. His resilience and joy left a lasting impression, and his beautiful smile could brighten even the darkest day.

He is survived by his loving mother, Brenda Freeman of Sequatchie; and his devoted sister, Jessica (Chris) Davis of South Pittsburg; nieces, Amber Davis, Amy Davis and Audrey Davis; grandmother, Ruth Freeman; aunts and uncles, Robert Rackler, Jr., Faye Guffey, Judy Whitson, Debbie Headrick, Clark Freeman, Timmy Freeman, III and Gary Freeman. Their love and support were the foundation of Kevin's strength and happiness.

Kevin will be remembered for his kind heart, laughter, and the way he brought people together. Though his time here was short, his impact was profound, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Family will receive friends 11AM-8PM, CST, Thursday, July 10, 2025, and 11AM-8PM, CST, Friday July 11, 2025, and 9AM-2PM, CST, Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Funeral Service 2PM, Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the funeral home chapel.

Interment to follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
