L. BRUCE WATERS

L. Bruce Waters age 65 of Powell’s Crossroads passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard “Pete” & Joyce “June” Waters; brothers, Cecil “Buck” Waters, Ray Waters; sisters, Barbara “Bobbie” Sullivan, Martha Waters, & Peggy Hamilton.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 32years, Regina “Susie” Meeks Waters; son, Edward Ramsey of Dunlap; siblings, Randy (Linda) Waters of Gruetli-Laager,  Alma Green,  Frankie Maxwell, Janice Watts, Kay Ross all of Whitwell, Mildred Stephens of Resaca, Ga; two grandchildren, Britnni (Wade) Ramsey Henderson, Jeffery (Tabitha) “Hobie Henson; eight great grandchildren; special caregivers, Lisa Long, Barbara Davis; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 5-8PM, Friday, December 27, 2024;  11AM-1PM, Saturday, December 28, 2024 with the funeral service to follow at 1PM in the funeral home chapel.  Rev. Danny Chance and Rev. Doyle Chamblee will officiate.
