LELA MAE (GRIFFITH) LONG

Lela Mae Griffith Long age 74 of Whitwell passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Long; son, Bill Long; parents, Howard & Ruby Griffith; sister, Clara Cordell, Margie Gholston; brothers, Virgil Evans Griffith, Bobby Ray Griffith.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Sandy Long Shaffer; sisters, Diane Kilgore, Janice Griffith all of Whitwell; grandchildren, Ashley Gilbert, Jacob Tanner Long, Lexie Parker; great grandchildren, Berkley Smallwood, Timothy “Tripp” Webb III’ several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Funeral service will be at 1PM, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Newson officiating.
